There will be no meeting on the 12th as Penfield is not available those wishing to attend the miracle field wine fundraiser should go online and purchase their tickets for that night. We will be back at Penfield country club on the 19th with the speaker from Children Awaiting Parents and on the 26th we’re hoping to do a little bit of a Halloween fun meeting.

Pen Web is having their annual brew and pairing on 16 November which is one of our meeting nights right there at Penfield so it’s strongly suggested we forgo the meeting and socially attend the Pen Webs dinner for $40 apiece. Members who went last year said it was an amazing dinner.

The dictionaries are in for the dictionary project and they are stamped and the sign-up sheet was passed around for members to take their schools.

Ray reported on the membership meeting and feels we needed to take a club assessment, change your meeting format especially if we want to attract younger people and consider monthly dues instead of once a year.

Brian passed out pancake breakfast tickets and posters. President Joe reviewed the budget and Rich suggested that he creates a budget work out between charities and club since we are a 501C 4. Herb gave us a balance that he thinks is accurate and current for the moment for what is in the checkbook. Joe will redo the budget and separate them out differently for us.

Rich reported on the garlic festival that 12,000 to go to the Miracle field, 1800 down to the Hope House, the community chest and miracle field also. President Joe and went over the committee list and then asked for a chair person to have for those committees.
